In addition to the millions in instant cash prizes that you’ll find in the game, there are thousands of high quality, World Poker Tour™ merchandise prize packs to be awarded to lucky players in the BONUS TOURNAMENT game. Claiming one of the merchandise packs is the first step toward qualifying as a tournament participant. Click here for information about how to claim a merchandise pack won instantly on a $10,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker® instant ticket.

Every time a player wins and claims one of the Hold ‘Em Poker® merchandise prize packs, the winner’s name goes into a drawing to select the tournament participants. For every 123 prize pack winners there will be one drawing to select one participant in the Bonus Tournament. If you don’t win, try again! In all, there will be 560 Mass Lottery players selected for the tournament through this series of special drawings.

Being selected as one of the 560 BONUS TOURNAMENT participants gets you an invitation to attend the tournament drawing event – sure to be one of the most exciting events in the history of the Mass Lottery! The drawing will simulate an actual Hold ‘Em Poker® tournament, except in this Mass Lottery version, NO POKER SKILL IS NECESSARY. Cards will be randomly assigned to the participants and the outcome of every hand of poker will be determined by random drawing.

When all 560 participants have been selected, the date, time and location of the $10,000,000 Hold ‘Em Poker® Bonus Tournament event will be announced, and each participant will receive a personal invitation to attend.

There will be three elimination rounds to determine the four participants who will advance to the Championship Round. As the tournament plays out, EVERY PARTICIPANT WILL WALK AWAY A CASH WINNER! But in the end, there will be just one player left – The Hold ‘Em Poker® Bonus Tournament Champion – who will collect the $10 Million GRAND PRIZE!

560 lucky Mass Lottery players who have already won World Poker Tour™ merchandise pack prizes are at the tournament hall – every player guaranteed to win a cash prize of at least $2,000.

Players are divided into 80 groups of seven. Each player starts with two cards. Every player has a chance to win the round by making the best five-card poker hand in their group, to be determined by combining their two cards with the five “Community Cards” that will be selected in the drawing.

The Round One Drawing commences with “The Flop”, three pre-determined “Community Cards” are revealed. Then comes “The Turn” as a fourth pre-determined Community Card is revealed. Finally, “The River” – the final Community Card is selected at random from a group of seven possible cards. Participants in each group then combine their two cards with the five Community Cards, and a Round Winner in each group is determined by which participant has the best five-card poker hand. Each Round One winner advances to Round Two, where they are guaranteed to win a cash prize of at least $10,000. Other participants are eliminated from the tournament but each collects the Round One Bonus Prize of $2,000.
