Answers
Q: Why aren’t there an equal number of mail-in winners and Internet winners?

A: Because the drawings select entries at random, the ratio between mail-in winners and Internet winners generally follows the ratio of entries received from either the mail or the Internet. If there are more winners from mail-in entries, it means that there were generally more entries received through the mail than through the Internet, and vice versa.

Q: How do I find out if I have been selected as a winner?

A: Winners' names and hometowns are posted on the second chance web site following the validation of winners, approximately one week after each drawing. Also, while we cannot guarantee delivery of emails for reasons beyond our control, we do send emails to all drawing winners whose entries were submitted via the Internet.

Q: Where is the WINNERS LIST from the last drawing?

A: It takes approximately one week from each drawing for drawing winners to be validated and processed before the WINNERS LIST is posted at the second chance web site.

Q: Why does it take so long to post the WINNERS LIST?

A: After the physical drawing takes place, the winning entries need to be reviewed and verified for eligibility. The winners’ information is data entered and certified by the Lottery before posting on the web site.

Q: I see my name on the WINNERS LIST as a second chance drawing winner, but I have not received an email. What should I do?

A: There may be times when Internet email delivery fails through no fault of the Lottery or its Internet service suppliers. Click on the “HOW TO CLAIM PRIZES” menu button and follow the instructions to claim your prize.

Q: I submitted several entries to the drawing. Why didn’t I win a prize?

A: It’s the luck of the random drawing that determines who wins and who doesn’t. With tens of thousands of entries received for any drawing, your chance of winning requires a lot of luck.

Q: How are the second chance winners selected?

A: Winners are randomly selected from all mail and Internet entries received for each drawing. Drawings are held under the observation of an independent Certified Public Accounting firm.

Q: What are my chances of winning a prize in a second chance drawing?

A: Your odds of winning will vary, based on the total number of entries that are received for a drawing and the total number of entries that you have submitted.

Q: Why is there an asterisk (*) by the names of some of the winners on the WINNERS LIST?

A: The asterisk indicates that the winner entered the drawing via the Internet. Included with those names are the ticket numbers associated with the winning entry.
