Questions about entries and tickets Q: If I enter my tickets for a drawing and do not
win, can I enter them for another drawing?
A: No. Entries that are submitted for a drawing are good only for that drawing. Entering another drawing requires different non-winning tickets. A: YES! You may enter a drawing as many times as you wish, however, each entry requires the use of separate qualified tickets. A: No. Entries are valid for one drawing only. To participate in each drawing you must enter new tickets. A: If there is another second chance drawing scheduled for the game, your entry will be eligible for that drawing. Any entries submitted after the final drawing deadline are disqualified. A: Each time you submit an entry, a record of your entry appears on the ENTER YOUR TICKETS screen, just below the area where you submitted the entry. All of your entries appear on that list for your information and reference, so you can check the list against the tickets you are holding. A: When you submit your entry, a record of it shows up on the bottom of your ENTER YOUR TICKETS page. If the entry is recorded there, you can be assured that it is in the system. A: No, that’s the last thing you want to do! Hang on to the tickets that you have entered and keep them safe. If you are selected as a winner in a drawing, you will need to mail in the tickets that made up your winning entry in order to claim your prize. A: Yes. There are no restrictions for out-of-state players. Anyone who is otherwise eligible to purchase lottery tickets is eligible to participate in the second chance drawings. A: After the drawing for which you entered tickets, when you are certain that the tickets you entered did not win a prize, you may discard the tickets. Please note that you need to produce the tickets if you win a prize in order to claim it, so make sure they were not selected before you discard them. Check the WINNERS page for names of drawing winners about one week after each drawing. A: The odds of winning are exactly the same whether entering via U.S. Mail or the Internet. Each entry has an equal chance of winning regardless of the method of entry. A: No. Internet entries are not eligible to be mailed in, and vice versa. You need to hold on to the tickets that you enter on the Internet because you will need to produce the actual tickets you entered in order to claim your prize, if you’re selected as a winner in the drawing. A: Check the RULES page or the back of the ticket for instructions on how and where to mail in your entry.
